Teamsters
Local 25 represents nearly 9,000 working men and women in the Boston
metro area. Local 25 has both private and public sectors groups
under collective bargaining agreements. The membership is diverse
and includes freight companies, UPS, town administrators, public
works employees, car rentals companies, school nurses, home heating
oil companies, car haulers, patrol officers and many other groups.
What
We Do:
Teamsters Local 25 is responsible for representing 9,000
members in the workplace. But, we don't stop there. Teamsters Local
25 participates in many community activities including a monthly
blood drive, annual participation in the Marine Corps Toys for Tots
program, an annual golf outing raising funds for the Dana Farber
Cancer Institute. Teamsters Local 25 has a Strike Force - comprised
of members that volunteer their time and effort to assist on organizing
campaigns, job actions, community awareness campaigns. Teamsters
Local 25 truly follows its motto: "Building a better future
for all working men and women"!
