About us:
The original charter for Teamsters Local 404 was issued on August 8, 1933 and currently represents over 2,200 members in Western Massachusetts and covers the counties of Hampden, Franklin, Hampshire and Berkshire. Local 404 is affiliated with the Massachusetts AFL-CIO and the Pioneer Valley Central Labor Council.

With over 100 contracts representing the membership, the priority of Local 404 is to protect the members rights in the workplace.

Our membership meetings are held the third Sunday of each month and all members are welcome to attend. Don Knowles is the President of our very active Retiree Club and helps with many of our functions and picket lines.

Local 404 has many annual events including the Children's Christmas Party, Local 404 Picnic and Golf Outing. The Teamsters Local 404 Scholarship Program awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors of active members. We are involved in many community projects.
