About Us:
Teamsters Union Local 59 was established in September, 1933, and serves Greater New Bedford, Cape Cod and the Islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, representing a wide range of trades within both the private and public sector.

What We Do:
Teamsters Local 59 has 3 full-time Business Agents working to achieve a secure, protected future for our members and their families.

Local 59 has a Scholarship Program for the qualified dependents of our members. Scholarships totaling $15,000 are awarded annually.

We are a participating branch of the New England Teamsters Federal Credit Union.
