About Us:
Teamsters Local 677 was given its charter 60 years ago in 1940 by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Teamsters Local 677 is a full service Teamster Local covering all occupations. The executive board is made up of seven (7) members. The executive officer is Secretary Treasure Dennis E Raymond. The full time paid representatives are President and Business Agent Dennis Raymond. Vice President and Business Agent Clifford Socquet, Recording Secretary, Business Agent and Organizer George Brier. The rest of the executive board is made up of three (3) Trustees Andre Rivard, John Capobianco and Warren Lucid.

Local 677 at the present time has 2,200 Members

Local 677’s Jurisdiction is the North West Corner of Connecticut that includes the following Towns. Ansonia, Barkhamsted, Beacon Falls, Bethel, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Bristol, Canaan, Cheshire*, Colebrook, Cornwall, Danbury, Derby, Goshen, Hartland, Harwinton, Kent, Litchfield, Meriden, Middlebury, Morris, Naugatuck, New Fairfield, New Hartford, New Milford, Norfolk, North Canaan, Oxford, Plymouth, Prospect*, Roxbury, Salisbury, Seymour, Sharon, Sherman, Southbury, Southington, Thomaston, Torrington, Warren, Washington, Waterbury, Watertown, Winchester, Wolcott, Woodbury.

*Two miles in any angle in Cheshire from Local 443’s Jurisdiction, same in Prospect. Derby Junction belongs to Local 443, Housatonic River to be dividing line.
